About SC RV Life

SC RV Life started with a simple frustration: most campground write-ups online read like they were copied from the same three brochures. We couldn't find a South Carolina RV site that told us what a 34-foot fifth-wheel would actually deal with on a mountain grade, or which "full hookup" listings quietly meant water and electric only.

So we built the site we wanted to read. Every guide on SC RV Life focuses on the details that change a trip: hookup type, site length and width, road grades and turns, pet policies, and how a place actually feels once you're parked, not just how it photographs.

What We Cover

We publish across seven areas of South Carolina RV travel: general campgrounds, state parks, coastal and beach routes, lakefront sites, mountain and foothills camping, RV resorts, and short weekend loops. Between them, we try to cover the state from the Grand Strand to the Blue Ridge foothills.

How We Work

Some of our coverage comes from firsthand visits. Some comes from research pulled together from campground documentation, state park data, and reader reports. We say which is which in every article, because we think that distinction matters more than most travel sites let on. We also ask readers to verify current rates, site dimensions, and reservation rules directly with a campground before they travel, since those details change more often than any article can track in real time.
